Barbara Thomas Judge is an international lawyer, banker and entrepreneur. She is Chairman of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority and the School of Oriental & African Studies, Deputy Chairman of Friends’ Provident PLC and the U.K. Financial Reporting Council.
She is also the Director of a number of other public and private companies, including Quintain Estates & Development PLC and PA Consulting, among others.
In addition, she is a Non-Executive Director of the Department of Constitutional Affairs and Chairman of the Professional Standards Advisory Board of the Institute of Directors.
Previously, she was Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as Executive Director of News International PLC and Executive Director of Samuel Montagu and Co., whilst she was based in Hong Kong between 1983 and 1987.
